New Username (was Poisonsama) Gold Bodypaint to celebrate. I decided to give up my old username and start over. I plan to kick out a lot more bodypaint on here since facebook is officially stupid.
My Black Widow Bodypaint on Michaela - Bodypaint and Photography by Scott E. Detweiler
Norse themed bodypaint I did on Rachel. The paint took longer than I expected, and the photo shoot was pretty quick. Retouching took about 30 minutes or so.
Celebrating #launchamerica today with a throwback to a bodypaint that my friend Otto did in my studio a few years ago on my muse Haley (the same girl that was painted gold in my last few posts).
Another image from my Norse themed bodypaint on /r/MachelleRoehr from last year. I like the short light on many of these paints to really show off the amazing curves on the body.
Another image from my first bodypaint a few years ago. My buddy Otto was there to give me some tips. I have learned a ton since then, but also realize how much I don't know.
My attempt at a Sith Acolyte from Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic. I did 3D print the mask for this as well, which is a new first for me.
One more of the gold series I started posting here a few days ago. I can't wait to get back to painting soon, not to mention getting to use the camera for something creative.
Here is a kind of assassin bodypaint I did a few years ago. Still learning a ton and have quite a ways to go, but the journey has been great so far.
Another shot of my adventures with this chrome bodypaint I did a few years ago.
Another angle of the assassin-ish bodypaint I did a few years ago. Still learning a ton with every single paint and nowhere near as good as the guy that inspired me to get involved in this. But, everyone has to have a goal. :-) Cheers, and have a great weekend!
Here is a Silver bodypaint I did a few years ago. Super simple as it is just one color, but I love how it turned out.
