Found these beauties hidden away in a closet at an estate sale. Price paid was $14.00. Judging by the other boots at the sale, these were probably just too small for the original owner, lucky for me.
Why are boots that have names like Carolina/ Georgia made in foriegn countries? There still good for the money. But I had redwings last 4 years until they come apart.

My Ariats I paid 160 bucks for them about 8 months ago. And they are still just fine. The only problem I had out of them was when I first bought them before they broke in. Dang things were rubbing my ankle bone but after 2 weeks it stopped. Greats boots! Would recommend if you're in construction.

Zamberlan Baltoro lites: one new set of tread and over 2000 miles of hiking in the year I've owned them. Should get another year out of them no problem. As a forester and a avid hiker I really put boots through hell and these have my stamp of approval.
